In Ukraine, the average pension from 2018 to 2021 increased from 2.5 to 3.7 thousand UAH. At the same time, the pensions of judges increased from UAH 27 to 77.3 thousand.
This follows from data from the Pension Fund. After several stages of recalculation of payments, it turned out that none of the categories of pensioners, except for judges, received a bonus higher than UAH 2,000. For example, the payment for the military increased from 4.2 to 5.6 thousand UAH.
How pensions have grown since 2018:

The majority of pensioners (54.7%) receive payments, the amount of which does not exceed UAH 3 thousand. Only 419 thousand pensioners (3.8%) pay more than UAH 10 thousand.

According to calculations Minsoca, the actual subsistence minimum for a pensioner is 4 382, 47 hryvnias I everyone who receives less is below the poverty line… The current size of the pension, even after the increase, will be several times lower.
Senior Research Fellow, Institute of Demography and Social Research Lydia Tkachenko explains: the size of many social payments depends on the subsistence level, therefore, in order to raise it to the real level, the budget of the Ministry of Social Affairs will have to be dramatically increased. And there is no money for this.
