In Ukraine, in 2021, four more stages of increasing pensions will be carried out. Payments will be recalculated in April, July, October and December.
The increase is included in the approved the budget of the Pension Fund for 2021. The increase will affect the majority of Ukrainian pensioners.
Happy April, 1
They will recalculate pensions for those who continued to work after retirement (there is 24 months of additional work experience). The size of the payment itself and the increase for the length of service will increase.

if they have fulfilled the requirements for length of service (30 years for women and 35 years for men), the pension is increased by 2% of the subsistence minimum (seniority allowance, UAH 35.3);

the size of the “net” pension itself is increased by 2%. For example, if your estimated pension is UAH 6,000, then after 24 months of additional work experience, the increase will be UAH 120.
From July 1
The minimum pension will grow from UAH 1,769 to UAH 1,854, and the maximum pension – from UAH 17,690 to UAH 18,540. This is due to the recalculation of the subsistence minimum. Also, from 17.6 to 18.5 hryvnia, the increase for “overtime” will increase (from 30 years for women and 35 years for men).
From October 1
For pensioners aged 75 and over, payments will be increased by UAH 400. This will be a monthly increase. Now those Ukrainians who turned 80 years old last year or earlier receive additional payments. They can count on help in the amount of about UAH 500. The Cabinet of Ministers announced a gradual increase in the number of Ukrainians who can apply for such an additional payment. In 2021 – for 75+.
From December 1
There will be another increase: up to 1934 and 19,340 UAH, respectively. Also, from 18.5 to 19.3 hryvnia, the increase for “overtime” will increase (from 30 years for women and 35 years for men).
