In October, retirees will again receive different pension transfers than in the previous month. This is due to the receipt of an additional amount in September, the so-called Fourteenth pension. Transfers in October will therefore be smaller, but different than at the beginning of the year. In March there was an indexation of pensions and in July there were further tax changes.
A slight improvement in pension budgets – similarly to all people who pay taxes according to the scale of the tax table – should be brought about by another tax reform, namely the lowering of the lower tax rate from 17 to 12 percent. .
Persons receiving pensions up to PLN 2,500 gross have not benefited from this change (unless they have other additional income taxed with PIT) because all their income from that pension is in the tax free amount – 30,000 PLN
