So, in August, the indexation of pensions in Ukraine will not be repeated. Indeed, this year it has already been held twice. As a result, the pension was increased for almost 8.9 million Ukrainians.
In particular, the next indexation is scheduled for March 2022
Who’s pension will grow
More than 400 thousand military pensioners will receive supplements for July. Their payments will grow by 45%. They were supposed to receive additional payments from July 1, but the Ministry of Social Policy postponed them for a month.
In addition, those military pensioners who received a pension before March 1, 2018 will receive a supplement of 2 thousand hryvnia.
Also, during the current year, it is planned to introduce additional payments for a group of pensioners of different ages. However, in August there will be no such.
Pensioners aged 75 to 80 will receive targeted payments in the amount of UAH 400 from October 1.
Average pension in Ukraine
According to the data of the Pension Fund, payments of Ukrainian pensioners are divided by type and size:
- Pensions by age – 8 316 443 people, average pension – 3 770.23 UAH;
- Disability – 1,367,192 people, average pension – 2,825.32 hryvnia;
- Due to the loss of a breadwinner – 530 902 people, average pension – 3 227.83 UAH;
- For seniority – 212 345 people, average pension – UAH 3 403.48;
- Social pensions – 71,924 people, average pension – 1,785.49 hryvnia;
- Lifetime pay for judges – 3,556 people, average pension – 77,387.20 hryvnia;
- Pensions of military personnel – 550,487 people, average pension – 5,650.26 hryvnia.
