Law enforcement officers evacuated the staff and visitors of the shopping center, which houses the branch of the financial institution.
In the branch of the bank, located on the first floor of one of the Odessa shopping centers, a suspicious box was revealed. Because of the find, the entire building was evacuated. About it reported press service of the police of the Odessa region.
It is noted that the incident occurred the day before. An employee of the security service of the financial institution contacted the law enforcement agencies.
Explosive technicians and an investigative-operational group of the territorial police unit arrived at the scene and examined the suspicious object.
As it turned out, the box contains nothing dangerous and belongs to a 79-year-old bank visitor who simply forgot to pick it up.
The police expressed their gratitude to the security officer for his vigilance.
