According to investigative committeein the Slavgorod district, a pensioner died from a snake bite.
According to preliminary data, a 66-year-old resident of Mogilev arrived at his dacha in the village of Lyubany with his son. On the afternoon of August 20, the men heated the banya and planned to rest. The pensioner went barefoot to the steam room, where on the way a snake bit him on the foot. Initially, he did not attach any importance to this, but after a couple of days he became ill.
The victim’s son called an ambulance. A resident of Mogilev, keeping silent about the bite, refused to go to the hospital. Every day he got worse, a week later the man confessed to the doctors that he had been bitten by a snake. Despite the efforts of doctors, he died. Presumably the pensioner died from a viper bite.
The Slavgorod district department of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the death of a pensioner.
