Governor Tom Wolf announced on Twitter that Pennsylvania had certified the results of the November 3 election.
“As required by federal law, I have signed a certificate of approval for the list of electors for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Wolf said.
On Saturday, a court in the state of Pennsylvania rejected the Trump campaign’s request not to allow the state to approve the results of the presidential election.
The federal court found the Trump campaign allegations of fraud in the Pennsylvania presidential election to be unfounded and to exclude seven million mailing bulletins from the results of the lawsuit.
Biden has overtaken the current presidential Republican Trump in this state by 80,000 votes. After confirming the results, Biden officially won the votes of the state’s 20 electors.
Trump agreed on Monday that a government agency would provide funds to ease the presidency’s transition process, although he has not yet acknowledged his defeat and Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election.
Trump acknowledged on Twitter that it was time for the Universal Service Authority (GSA) to “do what needs to be done.” The GSA’s mission is to provide millions of dollars to the newly elected president to facilitate the government’s takeover.
In the same tweet, Trump insisted that he still refused to admit his defeat. “Our case continues strongly, we will continue the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!” tweet Tramps.
Biden’s transition team will now have access to GSA facilities and office space, as well as the opportunity to meet with federal officials.
Biden’s office said the GSA would now provide “the support needed to implement a smooth and peaceful transfer of power.”
“In the coming days, transitional officials will begin meeting with federal officials to discuss the response to [Covid-19] “receive a full account of our national security interests and a full picture of the Trump administration ‘s efforts to empty government agencies,” said Biennean Transitional Director Johannes Abraham.
