Penn Station extension ready for opening in Manhattan

Governor Cuomo announced that the Penn Station expansion project, known as Moynihan Train HallIt will be finished by this Friday.

The terminal is located in the James Farley Post Office Building in Manhattan, and highlights the design of the original station.

The 255 square foot space will have a window greater than 92 feet high. It also expands the lobby of the current Penn Station by 50%.

The project was named after the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

Cuomo stressed that the jobs have been completed on time and on budget, despite the pandemic.
