The FIA has ruled on a possible penalty for Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Alex Albon, Charles Leclerc and Kevin Magnussen. These five drivers had to qualify for Formula 1 after qualifying Belgian Grand Prix past the stewards due to incidents.
Hamilton and Russell had to get past the stewards for dangerously returning to the track after going off track. For Hamilton, the FIA is of the opinion that no further action is needed. According to Hamilton, he left the track to let incoming Valtteri Bottas pass, an explanation approved by the FIA. Albon receives no more than a warning from the FIA after he also returned to the track in a dangerous manner during qualifying.

Leclerc and Magnussen
Magnussen would have stalled Leclerc in such a way during Q2 that Leclerc could not finish his fast lap and almost missed Q3. This ultimately did not happen, but according to the FIA, Magnussen did hinder the Monegask. He receives a grid penalty of three places for this. He goes from P13 to P16.
