Graziano Pellè beautifully made his first goal in Serie A on Friday evening in more than nine years. The 35-year-old striker was accurate with a bicycle kick for Parma, which lost 1-2 to Genoa at home.
In the sixteenth minute of the game in Stadio Ennio Tardini, Pellè controlled the ball on the chest and left Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin without a chance with a bicycle kick.
After half time, Genoa striker Gianluca Scamacca scored twice, meaning Parma lost. The 22-year-old Italian was active for PEC Zwolle in the 2018/2019 season and played in PSV’s youth academy.
Kevin Strootman, who was not included in the final roster of the Orange squad on Friday, had a basic place at Genoa and was replaced after 68 minutes. Joshua Zirkzee started on the bench at Parma and came on eleven minutes before time.

Pellè and Parma must fear relegation
It was the first time since December 2011 that Pellè was accurate in the Italian league. At the time, he also scored for Parma, which took him over from AZ, and that was his only goal in Serie A so far. In Serie B, Pellè was more accurate.
In 2012 Pellè moved to Feyenoord, where his career blossomed. The attacker became the club top scorer for the team from Rotterdam for two seasons and then played for Southampton, after which he was active in China for years. In 2016 he scored twice for Italy at the European Championship.
This winter Pellè returned to Parma and played his third match against Genoa for the 1995 and 1999 UEFA Cup winner. His contract with Parma, which is penultimate and has to fear relegation, will expire next summer.
