It is a day to recognize the dedication and commitment of those who work in the healthcare field.
This year, Mother’s Day also fell on this day, which always falls on the second Sunday in May.
Traditionally, the Pelhřimov Hospital, in cooperation with the Jihlava Polytechnic University, uses this important day to recognize nurses, midwives and dietitians. Their expertise and work are the basis of health care. As part of the Roses for Nurses event, representatives of the Pelhřimov Hospital and the Polytechnic University presented all the nurses who operated the hospital on Sunday, May 12, with beautiful red roses as a symbol of recognition for their essential contribution.
