A medical report released on Wednesday said Brazilian soccer legend Pelé’s cancer was progressing, requiring treatment related to kidney and heart failure.
Pele, 82, has been battling colon cancer since September 2021 and was hospitalized on Nov. 29 so doctors can reevaluate his treatment. His daughter said via “Instagram” that he will spend Christmas in the hospital.
Pele is considered one of the greatest footballers in history, he won the World Cup 3 times and is the only player to win three World Cups.
