“You’ll have to get used to it because we’ll say everything twice so maybe you won’t get lost again.” The eighth episode of «Beijing Express» (Sky Original production made by Banijay Italia, every Thursday on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW) sees the return – in the finale – of its historic leader, Costantino della Gherardesca, who, dressed as an emir Arab, announces the umpteenth novelty of the edition: the conduction in tandem with the “substitute” Enzo Miccio.
The departure, among the ruins of Petra
For his fourth episode as captain, the second and last from Jordan, pending the grand finale in the United Arab Emirates, the wedding planner focuses on “sobriety”. It is, in fact, with a turban and a burgundy velvet tunic that the 50-year-old Neapolitan welcomes the five couples remaining in the competition to Petra, communicating to them the intermediate destination to be reached (Kerak and its Roccaforte, a Crusader structure that develops over seven levels) in which the two fastest will compete in the fourth advantage race of the edition.
The return of Costantino della Gherardesca
The challenge consists in recovering the pieces of a puzzle, hidden in the castle of the city, and then assembling them. Between Sciacalli and Italy-Brazil, the two couples competing, it is the latter who prove to be more ready and have the possibility of gaining a position in the general classification. The destination of the stage is the capital of the country, Amman, where, dressed as an emir, Costantino della Gherardesca makes his return. «I’m really happy and excited to see you» says the historic conductor of the adventure game to the competitors, before announcing the order of arrival.
