Member Pekanbaru DPRD, Ida Yulita, went to the Pekanbaru Police. She came with her son and husband to report an unknown person who did beating.
Information received detik.comThe incident occurred on Jalan Arifin Achmad, Pekanbaru, at around 18.30 WIB. Apart from Ida, her husband and children were also beaten.
“There was a report (Ida reported). Earlier, she reported that her child was stabbed, but it has not been examined. We have directed the post-mortem,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Pekanbaru Police Commissioner Juper Lumban Toruan, Wednesday (1/9/2021).
Juper said Ida’s son had a stab wound to the neck. Meanwhile, Ida’s condition is not known for certain because she was immediately directed for a post-mortem.
“Her son had a gunshot wound to the neck. Bu Ida was also hit, but it was not visible, so we asked for a visa,” he said.
Juper confirmed the location of the beating on Jalan Arifin Achmad. However, the exact cause of the incident is still under investigation by the police.
“The location of the incident is on Jalan Arifin, behind Caffe Radja. But we will check first to make sure the chronology of what happened,” said Juper.
The beating incident itself is spread across WhatsApp group (WAG) journalists. However, when asked for confirmation, Ida has not yet responded. Including phone calls and text messages that have not been answered.
