What is PEGASUS and what are its goals?
- PEGASUS is teaching at the memorial, with the memorial and for the memorial.
- PEGASUS has been motivating schoolchildren from all over Saxony to actively deal with a monument since 1995.
- At PEGASUS, the focus is on interdisciplinary, cross-school and cross-location and project-oriented learning.
- PEGASUS brings children and young people closer to the exciting history of Saxon monuments – within the classroom, outside of class or in organizational mixed forms at learning locations outside of school.
Project ideas are being sought for the program that will be implemented from the school year 2021/22.
Who can participate?
Classes, courses and study groups from all types of schools can apply.
The prizes are intended to support the implementation of the project idea.
What rewards are given?
- The Free State of Saxony receives an award 15 project ideas with 500 euros each.
- The state capital Dresden awards up to three further project ideas related to a Dresden monument 500 euros each.
- For a project idea on the topic of “World Heritage in Saxony”, a Special price of 1,000 euros awarded.
