“We are working with a community that has been trained specifically for HIV/AIDS patients. This is being done to provide ARVs that aim to reduce the risk of transmission. Those who have HIV and have co-morbidities also need to be given attention,” he said. said.

Separately confirmed The initiator of the Indonesian community of positive children (komapi) Lampung, Ade Komariah, has revealed that HIV/AIDS patients are indeed dominated by the productive age. There are even children infected with HIV who get it from their mother.

“Children who are infected with HIV are definitely from the mother, and the mother is infected from her husband. Babies who are infected with HIV are usually taken from the age of 0-6 months. But there are also those who are 10 years only caught positive, so it depends on their immunity,” he said.

He explained that in Lampung province the number of children infected with HIV is about 125 people.
