Andrea Guzmán discovered a serious health problem in the middle of the recordings of ‘Pedro, el escamoso’

“I was recording Peter the scaly and I had noticed that he had a little ball in his throat, but I didn’t pay much attention to it.. One day, while watching a scene on the air, I noticed that the ball had grown and I decided to go to the doctor. They did a biopsy and told me that I had cancer cells.”

According to what the woman mentioned in the middle of the conversation with the media, the situation occurred at the time when she was only 22 years old, so he became overly worried about not knowing the correct way to react to the health problem he was facing.

The actress was afraid of losing her job in the soap opera

One of the fears that invaded the mind of Andrea Guzmán, who was in one of the best stages of her career as an actress, was losing his job or having the procedures he would have to face limit his recording schedule.

“I remember that I was also afraid that if I said something in the novel, I would lose my job, So I almost secretly told production so they would allow me a few days off filming so I could undergo surgery.”

Without having to undergo strong treatments such as chemotherapy, Andrea managed to overcome this disease.However, she had to include in her routine the consumption of some medications that would help her combat her lack of thyroid and preserve her health.

“It was hard at first. It changes your lifestyle, the first few months you get depressed, you get moody, but then you adjust; They give you the exact amount of medicine you need.”
