Girona vs Barcelona took place at Estadi Montilivi, Sunday (28/1) evening WIB. Barcelona is still missing its striker, Robert Lewandowski due to a card penalty.
Barcelona won with a score of 1-0, through Pedri’s only goal in the 61st minute. The result made Barca maintain consistency of victory and stay at the top Spanish league standings with 47 points from 18 matches, six points ahead of Real Madrid in second place (17 matches).
The course of the match
Girona played pressing at the start. Claimed a penalty after Yan Couto was brought down by Marcos Alonso, but the referee judged it was not a violation.
