Pedri made an impressive return for Barcelona on Wednesday evening. The midfielder delivered a masterful assist 40 seconds after coming on in the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
Pedri last played for Barcelona on March 3 due to a muscle injury. The technically gifted midfielder started on the bench against PSG, but was brought on by Xavi in the 61st minute. Pedri did not betray his trainer’s trust, because after just 40 seconds he enabled Raphinha to make it 2-2 with a nice assist.

It was Raphinha’s second goal of the evening, as he had given Barcelona the lead in the first half. After the break, PSG struck twice quickly with goals from Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha, but Raphinha put Barcelona on level terms again after more than an hour.
