‘Pedonetwerk’ conspiracy thinkers banned from cemetery in Bodegraven | NOW

The municipality of Bodegraven has instituted an emergency ordinance to ban conspiracy thinkers from the Vredehof cemetery. In recent weeks, dozens of people have placed flowers and notes on graves of the deceased who they believe were “murdered by a Satanist pedo network”.

“Next of kin feel very offended by the actions of these activists and conspiracy thinkers”, the municipality said in a statement.

“In addition, these social media activists falsely accuse dozens of people of infanticide or involvement in this satanic pedo network, when there is no evidence whatsoever.”

By introducing the emergency ordinance, people who have no business there can be banned from the cemetery. The penalty can be a fine or sometimes even three months in prison.

In recent times, graves have also been visited by activists in other places. Reported earlier News hour that flowers and texts have been left behind at the memorial stones of Marianne Vaatstra and Nicky Verstappen, to the dismay of the relatives.
