Pedestrian Hit by Car at Porsgrunn Rema Store: Latest Updates from Police Operations Center

At 20.40, the police operations center reports that the emergency services have dispatched to Porsgrunn, where a person has been hit by a car. The incident must have happened at the Rema store in Heistad.

The collision must not have occurred in a pedestrian lane.

Henrik Bjørnholt from the police informs TA that the sequence of events behind the accident is somewhat unclear, and that they are now working to talk to those involved to gain more clarity about what has happened.

The person who was hit, a man, is described by the police as being conscious and that it is possible to speak to him. Beyond this, they do not have an overview of the extent of the damage to the person concerned.

The man is said to have also complained of pain in the head, and an ambulance is taking him to the emergency department for examinations.
