Köln A woman was run over by a car while crossing a street in Cologne on Thursday. The 43-year-old died at the scene of the accident. According to witness statements, the pedestrian traffic light was said to have been green.
This was announced by the police and the public prosecutor’s office on Thursday. The incident happened on Aachener Strasse in Cologne-Lindenthal.

Apparently, the 43-year-old entered the busy main street when the pedestrian traffic light showed green, according to witnesses. Nevertheless, the woman was hit by the small car of a 24-year-old. The 43-year-old died at the scene of the accident. The police are investigating.
