A pedestrian caused damage of around 20,000 euros late on Saturday evening (15th) in Bieberer Straße in the area of the 260 house numbers in Offenbach. Then the stranger, who was bald, about 1.70 to 1.80 meters tall and wore a white T-shirt, ran away.

According to initial findings, two trucks with trailers drove on Bieberer Strasse around 11:45 p.m. when the unknown crossed the roadway via the pedestrian traffic lights that were not in operation near Heusenstammer Weg. According to his own statements, the 31-year-old truck driver then had to brake abruptly. The truck driving behind, at the wheel of which a 43-year-old was sitting, did not stop in time and drove onto the trailer. The pedestrian ran off in the direction of Bieber. Due to the damage caused, the 43-year-old’s truck had to be towed away.

The investigators from the escape group are now asking witnesses who observed the accident and who can give information about the unknown pedestrian to call 06183/91155-0.
