Seven men in their 20s were injured in this accident, but all of them are conscious and so far their injuries are not life-threatening.
The car appears to have made a left turn at the scrambled intersection, continued on to the sidewalk, and struck a nearby pedestrian.
The Metropolitan Police Department arrested the driver of the car, a man in his 20s, on the spot on suspicion of causing injury by negligent driving.
The driver’s explanation was that he “misoperated the steering wheel.”
