Pedestrian (36) robbed in Linz: Police want information

There were five people, between 15 and 20 years old: That’s what a 36-year-old Viennese said after a violent attack on Friday night. The man was walking on Böhmerwaldstrasse near Linz‘s main train station around 8:10 pm when he was suddenly kicked in the back and fell on the pavement. Five teenagers attacked the man who was lying on the ground and stole his red backpack before escaping with the loot.

The search was unsuccessful

According to the victim, the perpetrators were from the south and between 160 and 170 centimeters tall. An immediately initiated search near the crime scene yielded negative results. The Linz Central Station police station requests any relevant information on 059133/4583100.
