After the collision with a car in Alfhausen, a young pedelec rider had to be taken to the hospital.

A pedelec rider crashed into a car on Friday night in Alfhausen (Osnabrück district) and was seriously injured. According to the police, the 17-year-old suddenly hit the road. The driver of an approaching car was still braking, but could no longer prevent a collision. The young woman had to be taken to hospital – her injuries are not life-threatening, however. The two occupants of the car were uninjured. The pedelec broke into two parts in the collision. By order of the public prosecutor’s office, a blood sample was taken from the youth to determine the blood alcohol level.
