The Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of La Plata (UNLP) informs that on Tuesday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. an innovative activity called Pedagogical Theater – A theatrical journey to active learning will be carried out.
The Chairs of Pharmacology and Community Health of the UNLP and a group of local Actors designed a play for medical students, in which health problems are presented, which must be analyzed interactively by the students, responding to questions and offering their opinion after each of the 4 acts that make up the Work. The answers and opinions are presented on stage and debated by teachers after each scene until the end of the play.
The objective of the activity is to creatively present the contents of the different subjects and different health situations that are observed in medical practice, proposing that students analyze them critically in a debate with their teachers.
These types of activities have been carried out in the classroom and restricted to a few students. However, on this occasion this activity will be held at the Teatro Coliseo Podesta.
The event will have the participation of more than 1,000 students from the Medical School, and will be open to the community until the capacity of the main hall and theater boxes is reached.
