Helen McCrory, the award-winning Peaky Blinders actress, died on Friday at the age of 52.
McCrory’s husband, Billions actor Damian Lewis, announced his death on Twitter. He said he died peacefully at home after a “heroic battle” with cancer.

McCrory became well known for playing Aunt Polly in the BBC drama Peaky Blinder, she also played Narcissa Malfoy in films such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as well as appearing in other films such as Skyfall, Hugo and The Queen. , in which she played Tony Blair’s wife, Cherie Blair.
McCrory won a 1995 BAFTA Award for Streetlife, as well as a 2001 Broadcasting Press Guild Award for North Square.
Helen McCrory was born in 1968 in London, where she studied acting at the Drama Center. He began performing on stage in 1990, where he had a distinguished and award-winning career, earning accolades for roles in such works as The Deep Blue Sea and Medea.
McCrory married Lewis in 2007 and they had a daughter together, via Deadline.
