Twisted Metal started trending after we were shown a scene from Peacock’s upcoming Summer Game Fest gig, but perhaps not for the reasons PlayStation Productions would have liked. Many thought it looked really bad and too long. I agree to some extent, which is why I’m surprised now.
Peacock has given us Twisted Metal’s first real trailer, and it’s definitely more suited to my tastes with some dirty Deadpool-inspired satire (not surprising when Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are the writers). We’re obviously not talking about anything compared to HBO’s The Last of Us here, but Twisted Metal just intrigued me to at least watch the first of the ten episodes arriving July 27th.
