• Worth 110 million FCFA
DAs part of its CSR activities, Vista Bank, in partnership with the GO PAGA association and the Presidency of Faso, handed over the keys to the very first social complex in the first military region of Kaya. The ceremony took place on January 31, 2024. It was in February 2023 that the laying of the first stone of the jewel took place which was officially handed over to the city of Kaya, precisely to the first military region of the country. It thus benefits from a military social complex for the benefit of those injured in operations, the beneficiaries of the deceased, and the teams of the Regional Directorate of Social Action of the Armed Forces.
This jewel worth 110,000,000 CFA francs was financed by Vista Bank and the Presidency of Faso. Vista Bank is committed to undertaking corporate social responsibility initiatives that positively impact the socio-economic development of the community. Located on an area of 1,300 square meters, this infrastructure, according to the president of the GO PAGA association, Fadima Kambou, is a contribution to the war effort. Because, she said, “we, civilians, what can we contribute to this struggle? We are not going to the front, we cannot take weapons for some, but we can help. Everyone, according to their skills and means, their expertise, can go to the army level and put themselves at the disposal of the army. So, it is with this in mind that GO PAGA was born,” she explained.
The submitted work has 4 blocks. First, the training block for widows and orphans which is made up of a kitchen, hairdressing room, sewing room, maintenance room, emergency housing, weaving room, saponification room, weaving room, snack area, nursery and play area.
It is followed by a wounded block composed of a computer room, a training room, an interview and support room, a library, and two rest rooms. The leisure block composed of a refectory, a games area, a tea area. And finally, the Social Action block composed of reception space, an interview space for families, 4 offices for the teams, and outdoor amenities. Through this achievement, Vista Bank once again demonstrates its role as a corporate citizen for the benefit of the population. “Vista Bank joined without hesitation in this action carried out by the Presidency of Faso and GO PAGA in favor of the FDS who are on the front line, and our role will be today and tomorrow to support actions of this type to provide little comfort to these FDS and VDP who can go as far as the supreme sacrifice. Our effort is only material, but it is also moral. It is a gift of self that we will not hesitate for a moment,” said the CEO of Vista Bank, Mohammed Ba, during the key handover ceremony. And the bank’s commitment does not stop there. “Whether on this site or others, I give you the commitment that Vista’s support commensurate with its means will never be lacking,” he continued. Indeed, Vista Bank does not intend to stop there, because according to the bank’s Communications Department, one of the next steps will be the inauguration of a crèche offered at Camp Kuinima of the Bobo-Dioulasso gendarmerie.
