What is certain is that it is from one of the Turkish regions hit by the devastating earthquake
The Turkish rescuers could not control themselves after they heard, while performing their work to rescue a family from under the rubble of the devastating earthquake, after they heard the voice of a child greeting them.
From among the wreckage of the stone, a child’s voice greeted the squad members, saying: “Peace be upon you” in the Syrian dialect, to which the rescued young men enthusiastically replied: “Peace be upon you.”
While the video clip spread like wildfire on social media on Sunday evening, it was not clear in which Turkish region it was taken.
However, what is certain is that it is from one of the Turkish regions hit by the devastating earthquake last Monday.
The rescued young men appeared trying to get the girl out, who in turn greeted them in her own language and dialect, with all the meaning of the innocence of children.
It is noteworthy that the latest official statistics in Turkey recorded that the earthquake victims had risen to 29,605 people, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.
Despite these numbers, and with officials confirming that they may rise again, there are still hopes that more survivors will be rescued.
On Sunday, Turkish Vice President Fuad Aktay confirmed that the authorities had not lost hope of finding people alive.
He also said that nearly 34,000 people from rescue teams are continuing searches for those stranded in the affected areas, despite the difficult conditions, according to what was reported by the Turkish “TRT” TV.
