PDIP’s strong signal to join the Prabowo Government

In addition, Deddy said that the Prabowo-Megawati meeting would likely take place before the inauguration of the president on October 20.

At the same time, the Chairman of the PDIP DPP, Said Abdullah, confirmed that the meeting of the general chairman would not discuss cabinet matters. According to him, Mega and Prabowo’s decisions were not an executive meeting.

“Certainly the issue of the coalition will not be discussed because the meeting is not an executive meeting, the membership does not come together,” he said.

Said said that until now there had been no discussion within his party regarding PDIP’s position on whether they should enter or be outside the cabinet. Including names that have strengthened recently, such as Azwar Anas, Olly Dondokambey, and someone close to Mega, Budi Gunawan.

Megawati, he continued, has not instructed the party to enter government in the future.

“Good Mr BG, good Mr Olly, Mr Anas, there is no discussion within the party and we have no instructions from Miss Ketum. We are all standing straight and waiting for orders whatever the General Chairman provides,” he said.
