PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto revealed the general chairman’s direction Megawati Soekarnoputri ke Pranowo reward facing the 2024 general election and presidential election.
Responding to the question of political support and Ganjar’s chance in the upcoming presidential election, According to Hasto, Mega requested that all cadres be disciplined to face the 2024 presidential election. He emphasized that the party already has a clear mechanism regarding this matter.
“Everything is disciplined and related to the 2024 presidential election, the mechanism that has been running has been implemented,” he told reporters at the PDIP School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Wednesday (8/6).

Hasto responded lightly when asked about Jokowi’s signal of support for Ganjar Pranowo after attending the National Working Meeting of his volunteers Projo some time ago.
According to him, the relationship between PDIP and Megawati with Jokowi is currently on good terms. Hasto said Jokowi and Mega have been in intense communication until now.
“We saw yesterday that the meeting was going well, he periodically met with the nation and state dialogue,” said Hasto.
According to him, PDIP has not yet spoken further regarding the political direction in facing the 2024 General Election and Presidential Election. Hasto emphasized that his party is still focused on helping the government to explore the concept of a good future for the country.
“What we are discussing is a conception of the future direction of the nation, which is digging back from the planned universal development pattern that has been designed,” he said.
