PDIP Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo Optimistic PAN Will Support Him

PDIP presidential candidate (bacapres). Ganjar Pranowo optimistic PAN will support him. Ganjar admitted that since the party’s initial declaration, he was optimistic that other parties would support him.

“Since it was announced, I am confident. And with so much support, in my opinion, it is much better. And earlier, the talk was quite long, not just about the presidential election, but about a far more strategic alliance,” said Ganjar at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Friday (2 /6/2023).;

Ganjar said inter-party cooperation was needed to build the nation. He believes PAN will support him.

“And in my opinion that’s good. So that in the future Indonesian politics will not only be pragmatic but can prepare what we can do for the benefit of the nation,” said Ganjar.

“How can the government also run well. Mrs. Ketum said earlier, if others want to come, we are always open, that’s a good way to diplomacy, communicate, work together. God willing (100% PAN supports Ganjar),” he said.

PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) previously said his party would discuss the results of the meeting with PDIP internally. He has not directly answered whether PAN will also carry Ganjar who is the candidate for president from the PDIP.

“Mbak Mega already has a team, right? After our meeting, of course she will communicate with the team formed by the PDI Perjuangan. It is led by Mrs. Puan,” he said.

This meeting was attended by PDIP Ketum Megawati Soekarnoputri, PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and other PDIP DPP officials. The PAN group itself consisted of Zulhas, Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soeparno to Waketum Yandri Susanto.
