PDIP DPR Member Indah Kurnia Asks Police to Process Child Abuse Case on Inner City Toll Road

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Member of the DPR from the PDI-P faction (PDIP) Indah Kurnia hopes that the police can arrest the perpetrators of the abuse of her son, JF (24) on the Inner City Toll Road, Saturday (4/6/2022).

Indah expressed concern that there are still parties who do not abuse and put aside legal efforts.

He also hopes that the police can process the case of child abuse. The video of the assault has also gone viral on social media.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol. Endra Zulpan explained that his party had received a report on the alleged abuse with the victim named Justin Frederick (24).

JF’s victim report is registered with the number LP/B/2720/VI/2022/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated June 4, 2022.

His party has also asked the victim for information regarding the abuse received on the shoulder of the road
inner city toll.

The victim explained that the abuse took place at around 12.40 WIB on the Inner City Toll Road, near the Tebet Toll Gate in the direction of Cawang, East Jakarta.

“The case is now being handled by the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya,” said Zulpan, when confirmed, Saturday (4/6/2022).
