PDI Perjuangan Solo protested the sample ballot papers for simulation Presidential election from the General Election Commission (KPU). In the example ballot paper, it only contains two columns of candidates.
Reported detikJateng, Liasion Officer (LO) PDIP Solo, YF Sukasno, found out about this after asking for a sample ballot paper to simulate voting. In the presidential election ballot paper, there are only two columns for presidential candidate pairs.
“That Friday I went to the KPU and asked for sample voting cards, because political parties are allowed, right? So I asked for sample voting cards, I was given five, complete, voting cards for the Presidential Election, DPD, DPRD, DPR RI. When I opened the voting card on Monday, the Presidential Election “It turns out there are only two columns. This is a simulation, you know,” said Sukasno, Wednesday (3/1/2024).
According to Kasno, the presidential election ballot papers should have been made exactly according to the number of candidate pairs currently available, namely three candidate pairs. It is known that PDIP is nominating presidential candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md.
“In KBBI (simulation) the training is close to real. So, you know, there are only two columns. When you practice, there should still be three columns, in my opinion this is misleading,” he said.
Sukasno also tried a simulation on young and old prospective voters. He said that prospective voters also questioned the presidential election ballot papers.
“The 68 year old asked, why aren’t there any hair photos? I said this was just an example. He answered, ‘Well, which one is number three?’ “I tried asking him which way to vote, he counted 1-2-3. There wasn’t number three. If there was a vote, it would be on the right side,” he said.
