PDeCAT militant Mark Serra attacks and insults the taxi sector

The controversial pro-independence militant of the Partit Demòcrata Català (PDeCAT) has attacked and insulted the entire taxi sector in full swing.

“Many regards to all the taxi drivers who, year after year, have gone on strike and boycotted tourism and important Barcelona conferences. Special hug to those who left travelers hanging at the BCN airport creating monumental collapses. Tourists miss them.

The Twitter thread is not wasted. Another Serra follower indicates:

“They are not taxi drivers, but Spaniards full of rage, they boycotted Barcelona for many days, cutting off the main arteries of the city. We can never forgive them. There are other means to hire, not even € 1 ».

Criticism has not taken long to appear, and not only from the taxi sector, but also from Twitter users who call Serra an opportunist and a pirate.

“He also greets those at the airport security controls, the air traffic controllers and the Renfe train drivers, who this year cannot go on strike in the first week of August.”

The false licenses of tourist apartments managed by Mark Serra

The neighborhood platforms Ciutat Vella No Està en Venda and the Assemblea de Barris per un Turisme Sostenible (ABTS) have uncovered an illegal tourist apartment in Carrer Princesa managed by Mark Serra, the media militant of the Partit Demòcrata Català, who would be part of a network which includes 12 more properties in the neighborhood of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La Ribera that also do not have a license, as reported by the newspaper Timis Local News.

Both associations denounce that these homes are advertised through the Airbnb platform through a “false host”, Serra himself, when in reality he would be acting as “a professional administrator”.

The entities also point out that this plot is completed with the collaboration of the eight owners of the properties managed by Serra and the platforms where they are advertised: Airbnb, Booking and Homeaway.
