Member of Commission III DPR Faction Democratic party Benny K Harman views the Head of the Propam Police Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo no need to be disabled because of the shooting case by Bharada E against Brigadier J or Brigadier Yoshua Hutabarat at his private residence. He believes there is no room for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo to intervene in the case.
“Inspector General Ferdy Sambo does not need to be deactivated. Please the Fact Finding Team or the investigation team to conduct an in-depth investigation and I am sure Inspector General Sambo will not intervene in the process,” said Benny when contacted, Saturday (16/7/2022).
The deputy head of the Democratic Party believes that the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, will also be objective, transparent and accountable in resolving the case. He asked all parties to provide support first.

“If this team is handled directly, the National Police Chief is sure that they will work objectively, transparently and accountably. I believe the National Police Chief will conduct an objective investigation of this case. And the people need to fully support the work of the Police to disclose this case objectively and transparently,” he said.
Then, Benny also questioned the reason for deactivating Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. According to him, there is no room for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo to intervene in the case.
“How did he intervene? The team was led directly by the National Police Chief, after all. How did he intervene?” he said.
Trimedya asks Inspector General Ferdy Sambo to be disabled
To note, a number of parties are pushing for Inspector General Ferdy Sambo to be removed from his position. In addition to Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md, member of the House of Representatives Commission III Trimedya Pandjaitan encouraged Ferdy Sambo to be deactivated.
Trimedya said that he proposed three suggestions for the National Police Chief General Sigit to immediately take action. One of them, he said, was to disable Ferdy Sambo from the position of Head of the Propam Division.
“I propose there are three (that must) be done by the National Police Chief. First to form a special team that has been formed, then the file is withdrawn to the National Police Headquarters, and that hasn’t happened yet, maybe with the form of the special team. ,” said Trimedya when contacted, Friday (15/7).
