“For the movement of passengers up, but not yet significant. Currently at Soekarno-Hatta Airport there are around 25,000-30,000 prospective passengers,” Yado said when contacted by MNC Portal Indonesia, Sunday (5/9/2021).

He said that compared to before the PPKM period was implemented in July, there were far fewer prospective passengers and only around 5,000 passengers.

Yado admitted that the tariff reduction was effective as of September 2, 2021, at Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang) and Husein Sastranegara Airport (Bandung).

“The reduction in the rapid antigen test rate is expected to support prospective airplane passengers to always comply with health protocols in the midst of a pandemic and prospective airplane passengers can also go directly to the Airport Health Center location to carry out tests (walk in service),” he concluded.

For information, prospective airplane passengers must still meet a number of requirements, including showing a vaccination card and a Covid-19 test certificate which are also available digitally in the PeduliLindung application.
