Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon X Plus chip in April. Its goal: to continue to compete with Apple, while democratizing machines equipped with ARM chips.

After a few months of preparation, the company is launching this new chip with great fanfare with a range of PCs from its manufacturing partners. A single watchword: a sale price below 1000 euros.

In this, PC manufacturers are outpacing Apple, which, with its MacBooks, is positioned at a high-end price starting at 1199 euros.

To summarize, this is a chip designed with the same Oryon architecture as the Snapdragon X Elite. The concessions are made on the CPU power, with two fewer cores, and on the GPU, which is also significantly reduced.

PCs announced with Qualcomm

Qualcomm surrounded itself rather well at IFA. Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo et Samsung all have new machines to present with this chip.

Acer has introduced a new range of ultraportables.

Asus launches the Vivobook S15 in Snapdragon X Plus version at 999 euros.

Lenovo tackles price with Copilot+ PC launched at 899 euros.

Dell Inspiron 14 and 14 Plus with New Qualcomm Chip for a Price under $900 in the United States.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge features 15.6-inch display, promises all-day battery life for scheduled launch for the month of October in France.

Other brands could jump on the bandwagon in the future. One can easily imagine a future Surface Laptop Go from Microsoft equipped with this chip.
