Paytm nomme Sidharth Shakdher Chief Marketing Officer et Head of Business Business Unit

Sidharth Shakdher, former Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Ola Mobility, has joined Paytm as Chief Marketing Officer and Business Unit Head of the company. In his new role, he will work with founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma to drive Paytm’s growth while focusing on profitability. Mr. Shakdher leaves Ola Mobility after a nine-month tenure during which he steered the leading mobility business to profitability, launched ONDC’s consumer lending and food delivery service, and introduced Ola’s loyalty, Ola Coin .

As Managing Director of Oil, Mr. Shakdher was responsible for overseeing growth, revenue, category operations and marketing in India and international markets. He has also led new businesses, including e-commerce, financial services and cloud AI services, with global teams reporting directly to him. Prior to joining Ola, Shakdher was the EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Disney + Hotstar, where he was part of the founding leadership team.

He led the platform’s marketing efforts, international expansion and direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy. Prior to joining Disney + Hotstar, Mr. Shakdher worked at Amazon in Seattle, where he led marketing and third-party market growth in the United States. He was also Regional Marketing Manager at Reckitt Benckiser, playing a key role in launching and establishing Dettol in the US personal care market.

With nearly 25 years of experience, Mr. Shakdher has held leadership positions in companies such as Samsung, Canon, HP and Xerox.
