<a href="https://www.world-today-news.com/paytm-nomme-sidharth-shakdher-chief-marketing-officer-et-head-of-business-business-unit/" title="Paytm nomme Sidharth Shakdher Chief Marketing Officer et Head of Business Business Unit”>Sidharth Shakdher, former Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Ola Mobility, has joined Paytm as Chief Marketing Officer and Business Head of a business unit within the company. In his new role, he will work with Founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma to drive Paytm’s growth while focusing on profitability. Shakdher left Ola Mobility after a nine-month tenure in which he led the core mobility business to profitability, launched a consumer lending division and food delivery service ONDC, and launched Ola’s loyalty program Ola Coin.
As CBO at Ola, Shakdher was responsible for overseeing growth, sales, category operations and marketing in India and international markets. He also spearheaded new business ventures including e-commerce, financial services and AI cloud services, with global teams reporting directly to him. Before joining Ola, Shakdher was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Disney+ Hotstar, where he was part of the founding team.
He led the platform’s marketing activities, international expansion and direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy. Prior to Disney+ Hotstar, Shakdher worked at Amazon in Seattle, where he led the marketing and growth of the US third-party marketplace. He also served as Category Marketing Head at Reckitt Benckiser and played a key role in launching and establishing Dettol in the US personal care market.
With nearly 25 years of experience, Shakdher has held senior positions at companies such as Samsung, Canon, HP and Xerox.
