The firefighters and the gendarmes of the countries of Savoy had to intervene in the night of Monday to Tuesday July 13 for trees or branches fallen on the tracks.

Lhe storm that swept through the Savoy region spared no one. In Haute-Savoie, firefighters intervened no less than 112 times during the night of Monday July 12 to Tuesday July 13, notably in Rumilly, Thônes, Bonneville, Cluses, Saint-Jeoire, Samoëns, Morzine, Thonon and Évian. The Haute-Savoie emergency services activated the overflow pole, for trees on the roadway and flooding. This Tuesday morning, there was no longer any special arrangement.
In Savoie too, particularly in the Chambéry / Aix-les-Bains sector, firefighters, gendarmes and the various technical services of the towns concerned all intervened late in the evening of Monday, July 12, between 10 p.m. and midnight approximately. The gales knocked down branches and even some trees on the roads. Deviations were made by the gendarmes to help the firefighters. In total, they carried out around twenty interventions.
Fortunately, no injuries are to be deplored in the two departments.
