Pays Basque. Two rescued kitesurfers, Corsaires beach in Anglet

Two kitesurfers found themselves in difficulties Corsairs beach around 5:40 p.m. Anglet. Following the mobilization of rescue means, the two victims were able to get out of the water safe and sound.

More fear than harm

Nautical rescue from the Anglet fire brigade was deployed to recover the two athletes. In parallel, the Jet Ski of the beach lifeguards quickly reached the two victims to bring them back to the edge of the beach.

The victims were then attended to by firefighters. Their state of health was good, they were not transferred to a health establishment.
