A walker made a macabre discovery in the afternoon of Sunday 5 December 2021 in Anglet. While looking for her dog, she came face to face with a skeleton in makeshift shelter.
“Body” discovered under a pull-up bar
The shocked woman immediately notified the police. The corpse was on a weight bench in a barracks made of tarpaulins and tents. According to our information, the person was discovered under a pull-up bar that weighed around 100 kilograms. She would have been dead for about a year and a half.
The Bayonne judicial police were seized of the case. Investigators are now seeking to determine the reasons for the death of this person and to set the date of death.
