Czech Industry Minister Jozef Sikela said that Europe should not allow itself to be blackmailed by Vladimir Putin’s demands to pay for gas in rubles. He added that the head of the Kremlin is aggravating the economic war with Europe.

“Putin has decided to further aggravate the economic war with Europe … we cannot help him bypass anti-Russian sanctions in this way, on the contrary, we must demand compliance with existing contracts,” the Czech minister is quoted as saying.
According to him, gas supplies from Russia to the Czech Republic are still stable.
