After Europe, America. Dutch online payment giant Adyen obtained its banking license in the United States last week. Authorization was given by the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), which is part of the Treasury Department. The Federal Reserve had already approved its request at the end of May.
With this banking license, very popular with financial institutions, the tech company will no longer depend on third-party banks that processed its transactions until now.
