PayPal today announces the availability of the service “Paga in 3 rate on the pagoPA web platform.

With these words Maria Teresa Minotti, Country Director di PayPal Italyannounced that deferred payments will be available from today using the PA payment service. The latter allows Italian citizens to subdivide into 3 installments without interest or overdue fees payments relating to social security, taxes and car stamps.

What is PagoPA? And the national system for electronic payments in favor of the Public Administration which aims to make transactions simpler, safer and more transparent. In essence, it is a digital platform through which participating payment service providers (such as Bank, home banking, ATMs, Italian postetc.) act as an intermediary between citizens or companies and the Public Administration to make payments.

How does the pagoPA “Pay in 3 installments” service work?

Currently the service is only available in the web version of PayPal and allows users to choose to defer payments related to social security, taxes and car stamps.

Once you reach the checkout page e chosen PayPal as a financing tool, you will be sent back to yours account. Here you can select the deferred payment formula. When you choose to pay with “Paga in 3 rate“, the first installment is deducted from the payment method associated with PayPal at checkoutwhile the next two, respectively, one and two months later.

To be able to pay with this solution, the figure must be between € 30 and € 2,000. Moreover, there are no interest or delay ratess: each installment is exactly equal to 1/3 of the total due. You can view and manage the expiration of your installments throughapp PayPal.
