As “Delfi” informs MARTA, musicians Olga Rajecka and Uģis Roze, actor Uldis Siliņš and others can also be seen in the clip.

“Growing up is as inevitable as the painful revelation that life is not nearly as easy and rosy as it once seemed. Fighting for your dreams and your place in the world requires strength, courage and more than one episode of heartbreak. I like to talk about the serious easy and with a certain amount of irony, so I’m glad that together with the producer and co-writer of the song, DJ Rudd, we managed to create a song that you can cry and dance to at the same time, I believe that everyone has experienced disappointment at least once in their life, so I hope this story will appeal to listeners,” says MARTA about the single.

The video was filmed at Dundagh Castle with a crew of over 20 people. The script and direction were created by the director Marta Elīna Martinson: “I really love pop music and music videos as an art form, so I immediately responded to Marta’s invitation to make a clip for the song “Ai, kā sāp”. Moreover, it is rare that an idea immediately arises after listening to a song for the script. Reversing familiar narratives and gender stereotypes is one of the themes I like to play with in my works, and this time, thanks to the selflessness and enthusiasm of the team, it was possible to realize my fantasies. It’s rare to live out your childhood princess dreams from the heart!”

The creative team of the “Ai, kā sāp” video consisted of cameraman Aigars Sērmukš, artist Renāte Bāliņa, costume designer Jūlija Volkinsteina, producer Laura Skuškė, make-up artist Sabīne Kurmeļova and many other professionals in the field of cinema.

Musicians Olga Rajceka and Uģis Roze, actor Uldis Siliņš, as well as Karmena Stepanova, Emīls Trauliņš, Ieva Puriņa, Raitis Puriņš and actresses Katrīna Dambeniece and Asnāte Sofija Rožkalne, known from the movie “Tizlenes”, have played the roles.
