The fact that he didn’t give 100% chances was the reason why we didn’t win at Sparta,” Bílek was angry. Not much can lift him up, but this was a lot for him as well. His team lost not only the victory, but also the position of the league leader.
“When I looked back at those situations, I couldn’t believe my eyes. We couldn’t score even when we went three on the goalkeeper. It’s really boiling in me. This is hard not to give. I don’t know what else to say about it,” added captain Lukáš Hejda.

“We agreed that it would be best for everyone for me to finish training. I fulfilled what the coach wanted from me and I’m glad that he then gave me a chance,” says Šulc, who is well aware of his weakness. “Almost after every training session, I try to work on the ending. I know that I have chances mushrooms,” claims Šulc, to whom boss Šádek brought a box of chocolates to the cabin years ago after his “dirty” goal in the duel with Příbramí…
Frustration from poor productivity might have gotten to someone else, but Šulc didn’t give up. Thanks to a dogged nature and a fair amount of self-confidence on the pitch. After all, during his stay in České Budějovice, he was able to argue with goalkeeper icon Jaroslav Drobný during matches.

I know what I can do,” said Šulc, who as a boy used to go to the Pilsen club to cheer on Horváth et al. in their golden era. “I knew from the age of ten that I would one day play for Viktorka,” he was clear years ago.
